Altas Quintas is a distinguished high-altitude wine producer located in the heart of the Serra de São Mamede Natural Park, within Portugal’s Portalegre sub-region of Alentejo. Established with the 2004 harvest, the estate’s vineyards are situated more than 600 metres above sea level, where cooler temperatures, distinctive soils and natural humidity help preserve the purity, freshness and character of the grapes.

Its environmentally responsible approach includes herbicide-free vineyard management, careful use of water and energy, and the protection of the region’s native biodiversity.
